Each day I find much inspiration and challenge with our vibrant team, pioneering projects and keen students wanting to discover the future of Multimedia.
The training team puts its students first and makes every effort to provide an encouraging learning environment on all levels including technology. However, multimedia is not just about the technology. In fact I would say that is the least it is about. Multimedia is about creativity, imagination and commitment. ATOM has a demanding faculty, but the rewards to be gained are many. India, and indeed the globe, is recognizing the overwhelming need for content. Content is king and that will be the key to setting yourself apart from "others", your creative thoughts.
The world is faced with ever-increasing new forms of multimedia communication, both from the technological tools and the messages beamed to us each day via a saturated electronic environment. As the world shifts into the global digi-sphere, you as our students are faced with even bolder challenges to become future media creators.
The Indian animation sector has not been hit by the slowing economy. The Indian animation industry is currently pegged at Rs 1,740 crore and of the total revenue generated by the studios, over 70 per cent is derived from outsourcing, says the Ficci-KPMG Media and Entertainment Industry report 2009. Analysts note that other than the cost advantage that India offers, studios here are coming up with world-class projects.
